THE MARIAN CENTRE IS WELL ESTABLISHED COMMUNITY BASED CHILDCARE
PROJECT THAT WORKS WITH THE COMMUNITY IN THE GREATER BRAY AREA. WE ARE
LOOKING TO RECRUIT A FULL TIME EARLY YEARS EDUCATOR TO WORK IN OUR
PRE-SCHOOL AND AFTER-SCHOOL SERVICES IN BRAY.
ESSENTIAL:
* Applicants must hold a QQI Level 7/8 qualification with a minimum
of 3 years experience
* Have an in-depth Knowledge of Siolta and Aistear, Child Protection
guidelines and the Childcare Act.
* All applicants should be able to demonstrate dedication,
flexibility, initiative and an ability to develop a strong, non
judgemental and supportive rapport with children, parents and
colleagues.
* Have a strong ability to work as part of a team
DESIRABLE:
* Occupational First Aid certification
* Knowledge base of trauma informed care
* Community based experience
THIS POSITION IS A FULL TIME POSITION FUNDED BY THE COMMUNITY SERVICES
PROGRAM, SO IT WOULD BE DESIRABLE FOR THE APPLICANT TO BE IN RECEIPT
OF APPLICABLE SOCIAL WELFARE BENEFIT BUT THIS IS NOT ESSENTIAL.
